1. Who we are

Kornea is an independent creative technology company operating through Kornea FZE (United Arab Emirates), Kornea Inc. (United States) and Kornea A.Ş. (Türkiye). For this website, the Kornea company that answers your message acts as the data controller.

2. What we collect

Contact form: your name, email address and message, which you type in yourself, and your consent to this notice. The form also uses a hidden anti-spam field, a timer and a short-lived, hashed IP-based rate limit to stop abuse. If we enable a spam-protection service such as Cloudflare Turnstile, it will process your IP address and browser signals for that purpose only.

Server logs: like any website, our hosting provider automatically records technical data such as IP address, browser type and requested pages for security and operation.

Booking a call: if you click “Book a call” in our “Got an idea?” card, a Cal.com booking window opens on top of the page. Nothing is loaded from Cal.com before that, and the details you enter there (name, email, chosen time) are processed by Cal.com under its own privacy policy.

We do not use advertising cookies, analytics or tracking scripts, and the site does not load third-party fonts or embeds (apart from the optional services mentioned above).

3. Why and on what basis

We use your message only to read it, reply to you and, if you ask for it, to prepare a proposal. The basis is your consent and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a) and (f); KVKK Art. 5).

4. Storage and sharing

The website does not store form submissions in a database. Your message is delivered by email to our mailbox and kept there only as long as needed to handle your enquiry, and for a reasonable period afterwards for our business records.

We do not sell your data. We share it only with service providers who run our hosting and email, and where the law requires it. Because we operate in several countries, your message may be processed outside your own country.

5. Your rights

You can ask us to confirm whether we hold data about you, to give you a copy, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, and withdraw your consent at any time. Write to hello [at] kornea [dot] co; we will reply within 30 days. You may also complain to your local data protection authority (in Türkiye, the KVKK Board).

6. Changes

If we add analytics, cookies or new forms, we will update this page first.
